Got to Tap Showcase is June 29 at 3:00PM at the J.B. White before Performing Arts Theater, Clearwater, Florida.
This will be an all tap dancing extravaganza starring headliners Lynn Schwab, Ryan Lohoff, Michael Boston and the 2008 Festival tappers! The show will consist of choreography taught by the star faculty, and tap routines from represented studios and dance companies. It will be a celebration of tap for the entire community! You don't want to miss out on being part of the exhilarating performance whether you are tapping in it or watching it!
Tickets will be available at the box office the day of the show. Ticket prices are $15.00 general admission $10.00 Senior citizens and children under 12. Advance purchase is available on registration form. Tickets will be included in registration packet upon arrival.
Audition information for Tap companies and studios:
Dancers can showcase their studio or dance company by auditioning their dance routines. Dancers must send in a DVD or VHS of the duet, trio or group routine they want to perform at the showcase. Audition tapes must be submitted by May 1st, 2008 to: Tampa Bay Taps . 1111 Cheshire Court . Safety Harbor, FL 34695.
Please include dancer/s name, studio, choreographer and address or email. Please include a $10.00 audition fee made payable to Tampa Bay Taps. Sorry, tapes cannot be returned. You will be notified if your number is chosen to perform in the showcase, along with further instructions.
